• Get one-on-one help from student financial aid professionals
• Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at the workshop
• Pell Grant is increased
Do you Need Help Filing Your Taxes?
• You may be eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Child Tax Credit (CTC) and can receive a substantial tax refund
• Free assistance for qualified families filing 2009 returns
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bring your 2009 IRS 1040 tax returns and W-2
statements. If you have the following available, you
should also bring these:
• Your Social Security number
• Records for untaxed income for 2009, such as Social Security, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), welfare or veterans’ benefits
• 2009 bank statements
• Your driver’s license or alien registration card
• Any 2009 business or investment mortgage information
• Business, farm, stock, bond or other investment records
