Congressional Youth Cabinet Mock Hearing on Housing Affordability in Tampa Bay
The Congressional Youth Cabinet will hear witness testimony, ask questions and get a feel for what it's like to serve on a Congressional Committee.
Rep. Castor launched the FL-14 Congressional Youth Cabinet for the 2025–2026 school year after hearing directly from Tampa Bay students who wanted a stronger voice in public policy.
The inaugural class has focused on housing affordability, working with local leaders and organizations to better understand the issue and identify ways to help lower costs for neighbors across the Tampa Bay region.
