Dr. Ladapo, Florida’s Surgeon General, knows that children age 5-17 can avoid severe illness & hospitalization from Covid19 with the safe, effective vaccine & boosters. As we mark the solemn milestone of over 6 million lives lost to Covid19, Governor DeSantis is making false and dangerous accusations, as he has done throughout the pandemic. Governor DeSantis hid data and death information from Floridians. He yelled at children when they chose to wear masks last week. He withheld Covid19 emergency aid from schools and students. When the going got tough, he failed Floridians and it likely costs lives.
