Pelosi Names Conferees to Energy & Natural Resources Package

Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi today named House Democrats to serve on a conference committee reconciling House and Senate versions of an energy and natural resources package.

(News release issued by the office of U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi)

Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi today named House Democrats to serve on a conference committee reconciling House and Senate versions of an energy and natural resources package.

“Unfortunately, House Republicans are going to conference with a partisan, special interest package that fails to invest in infrastructure, leads to more energy consumption and carbon pollution, stacks the deck against the environment and the air our children breathe, and undermines protections for our public lands and wildlife,” said Leader Pelosi. “While House Republicans enable polluters, Democrats will stand for clean energy, a healthy environment and good-paying jobs for future generations.”

The House Democratic Conferees to the energy and natural resources package conference committee are:

  • Congressman Frank Pallone of New Jersey, Ranking Member, Energy and Commerce Committee
  • Congressman Raúl Grijalva of Arizona, Ranking Member, Committee on Natural Resources
  • Congressman Collin Peterson of Minnesota, Ranking Member, Committee on Agriculture
  • Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson of Texas, Ranking Member, Committee on Science, Space and Technology
  • Congressman Peter DeFazio of Oregon, Ranking Member, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee
  • Congressman Bobby Rush of Illinois
  • Congresswoman Lois Capps of California
  • Congresswoman Doris Matsui of California
  • Congresswoman Kathy Castor of Florida
  • Congressman Dave Loebsack of Iowa
  • Congressman John Sarbanes of Maryland
  • Congressman Peter Welch of Vermont
  • Congressman Ben Ray Luján of New Mexico
  • Congressman Paul Tonko of New York
  • Congressman Jared Huffman of California
  • Congresswoman Debbie Dingell of Michigan
