Fred Karl was a true professional who not only provided his tremendous legal skills, service and talent to our community, but also had dedicated most of his life to our neighbors throughout Florida. Prior to public service in Hillsborough County, he devoted a large portion of his career as a state representative, state senator and Florida Supreme Court justice. Our community, like many others, was so fortunate to benefit from his commitment to fairness, diplomacy and fortitude. He has left us with an unmatched legacy, and we should forever be grateful for his contributions. My family and I sincerely extend our prayers and condolences to Mr. Karl and his loved ones.
