It’s the Bulls vs. the Bearcats, the University of South Florida vs. the University of Cincinnati and guava pastries vs. barbecue sauce. Congresswoman Kathy Castor has made a friendly wager with Congressman Steve Driehaus of Cincinnati on the outcome of tonight’s big college football game.

“The USF Bulls will trample the Bearcats,” Castor predicted. “The Bulls have the spirit, they have the talent and they have the support of the nearly 60,000 fans planning to pack the stadium tonight.”

For her part, Castor offered guava pastries straight from Tampa.

“It only makes sense: Our city has been dubbed the Big Guava. Guava is delicious, is the apple of the tropics and is known for its many health benefits. But since the Bulls will run all over the Bearcats, I look forward to enjoying barbecue sauce from Congressman Driehaus.”

The undefeated Bulls will host the Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium.
