Community Project Funding

Transparency

Community Project Funding requests are congressional provisions that direct funds toward a specific project within a community. Community Project Funding allows Members to put their deep, first-hand understanding of the needs of their communities to work to help the people we represent and will make Congress more responsive to the people.

Each Member is limited to no more than 15 Community Project Funding requests for Fiscal Year 2025 and submission of a project does not guarantee that the project will be funded. Projects are restricted to a limited number of federal funding streams, and only state and local governments and eligible non-profit entities are eligible.

In compliance with House Rules and Committee requirements, Rep. Castor has certified that her, her spouse, and her immediate family have no financial interest in any of the projects she has requested.
