TAMPA, FL – On Friday, U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor (FL-14) will host Rep. Mike Quigley (IL-05), the lead Democrat on the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies which determines federal spending for housing and transportation initiatives nationwide. The Representatives will be joined by Jerome Ryan, President and CEO of the Tampa Housing Authority, for tours of local affordable housing sites and to highlight direct federal investments for Florida’s 14th Congressional District. The tour will include visits to Encore, the West River Redevelopment and Robles Park Village, all of which have benefited significantly from federal funding.
