WASHINGTON - On Tuesday, June 30, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will join Chair Kathy Castor and members of the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis as they unveil a comprehensive congressional action plan to solve the climate crisis. The press conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the House East Front Steps of the U.S. Capitol.

BACKGROUND:
The House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis was created by Speaker Pelosi at the outset of the 116th session of Congress to make science-based policy recommendations to the standing committees of jurisdiction on how to solve the climate crisis. Those recommendations will be released on Tuesday, June 30, and will be available at climatecrisis.house.gov.
