U.S. Reps. Castor, Ross: Haley VA Hospital Patient Tower A Priority

To help ensure the highest standard of care for our veterans, today U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor (FL14) and U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross (FL15) sent a bipartisan letter to U.S Department of Veteran Affairs Secretary David J. Shulkin and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Commanding General and Chief of Engineers Todd T. Semonite, expressing their concerns over delays in planning and construction of the new bed tower at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

“It is vital that construction of the Haley VA bed tower remains on track and on budget to serve the needs of our veterans.  They deserve and have earned the best of what our country has to offer and it is our duty to ensure they are honored as such,” said Reps. Castor and Ross.  Read their letter here.
